Photos from March through May '05 - Parties to warm our Castro flat
On March 26 we had a party to celebrate Craig's 32nd birthday and the purchase of a beautiful flat in the Castro! This set a new standard for our parties: scheduled around naptime, with lots of kids in Serafina's room, and adults in the living room:
For Passover, our downstairs neighbor Tiela invited us to her seder, which was to be in our backyard. But because of predicted rain, we ended up hosting the seder, in the empty room that our roommate had not yet occupied. So we had a sit-down dinner for 30!
Then we hosted a Mother's Day barbeque, which also ended up indoors because of rainy weather:
So we hosted a Memorial Day barbeque when Uncle Max, Aunt Valerie, and cousins Sabine and Nadia were visiting. And this was finally in our beautiful backyard! It was also a celebration of Geoff's and my 5-year wedding anniversary, thus the cake. This first picture is our new roommate David, in between former roommates Karen and Paul:
