Photos from July and October 2007: Fun in the Sun

We hardly took any pictures in July, but some other people shared their pictures with us, and so we have some fun ones to share.

On July 3-4, Geoff and I celebrated our 12-year anniversary (since our first date) by going up to Napa valley. We stayed in a hotel, had some good food, went for a hike, etc. Pearl, James, and Noah took care of the kids. Noah and Andy took Serafina to the beach, and took this photo:

On July 15, we went to Dolores Park, where the SF Symphony was performing a free concert. There we ran into lots of friends, including Guido and his son Alessandro, Alex and his son Madoc, and Tom and his sons John and Bogdan. The kids played in front of the stage, and Serafina danced a lot, so she was photographed a lot too. After the concert a woman came up to us and took our e-mail address so she could share all the great photos she'd taken of our kids. So here are my favorites:

There was a guy who'd fallen asleep on the grass, and for a while, Serafina and Alessandro were dancing around him without waking him - it was hilarious:

I did take one photo in July: Serafina and Toby were very cute at home together one day:

Later that month, we ran into some friends in Dolores Park, and went to dinner together in the Mission, where we found a parking meter that must have been bent down by a car collision. The kids found it lots of fun to play on:

On October 7 we went to the Castro Street Fair, which was fun as always. My friend David (who had been my tent-mate on the AIDS Ride years ago) took these photos of us in the country-western dancing area. I had to tickle Toby to get a smile out of him - he hasn't yet gotten the concept of smiling for a picture.
