Photos from Fall '06 - Halloween, Nutcracker
For all of these photos, you can click on the image to see a full-size version. Here's Toby on October 5 with his new "walker" as Cliff called it. He wasn't walking by himself yet, but learned to walk around quite well while pushing this truck:
Here we are on Halloween at Serafina's school. Toby's lion costume was back-ordered:
As you can see here and in most of the pictures afterward, we rarely get a good shot of all of us. Part of life with two young kids is that every shot is an action shot.
Here we are in front of Guido and Alessandro's house, where Cliff (the wicked witch, on Serafina's suggestion) met us, and we walked around the Castro area street party together:
We met up with our neighbor and friend from pre-school Madoc and his parents, too:
We got stopped many times from spectators without costumes who wanted to take photos - very annoying. This one was taken by a SF Chronicle photographer, and appeared in the online newspaper:

Here's Toby on the swing at Duboce Park on November 18, when my mom was visiting (sorry, didn't get any other photos from the visit!):
On December 10 I took Serafina to the Dance-along Nutracker, and we were joined by her preschool friend Paris and her mom:
Also joining us was our downstairs neighbor Tiela and her daugher Eliana. All the kids were at times overwhelmed by the crowd:
After the performance I took Serafina to the housewarming/birthday party for my friends Antoine and James, where Serafina showed off her moves:
